In summer, cruising along the boulevards of Katwijk and Noordwijk is a fantastic experience. In August and September, the dahlia gardens are beautifully in bloom. Throughout the entire season, the dunes offer great opportunities for spotting deer.

The E-scooters are 100% electric, allowing you to ride quietly and in an environmentally friendly way. The starting location is Have Fun Events, at ’t Soldaatje in Voorhout.
Have Fun Events is located in the heart of the Bulb Region, close to the beach and dunes of Noordwijk and Katwijk. Leiden is nearby as well, and you can enjoy windmills, small ferries and the beautiful countryside around De Kaag and the Kagerplassen lakes. Free parking is available at Have Fun Events, with plenty of space for cars and touring coaches.
Upon arrival at Have Fun Events, you will be welcomed with coffee or tea. You can choose from different routes such as the Windmill & Ferry Route, Coast & Villages Route, Tulip Route and the Treasure Hunt Route. During the various E-scooter routes, you can enjoy breaks at cosy cafés and terraces along the way.
No deposit is required at Have Fun Events. In case of damage, an excess of €1,000 per vehicle per incident applies. This excess can be partially reduced. For €5 per vehicle, the excess is lowered to €300. As the main renter / organiser, you are responsible for all participants who have rented a vehicle.
Participants without a driving licence or children can ride as a passenger on the back of the E-scooter. For children aged 3–8, we provide a child seat. A duo passenger costs €10 extra.
Clothing advice
We recommend wearing comfortable leisure clothing when riding an E-scooter. Smart clothing is of course also possible. Please dress according to the weather conditions during your ride. It is better to be slightly overdressed than to feel cold while riding.
