Our specially designed tandems are perfect for parents who want to cycle comfortably together while discovering some of the most beautiful nature areas in the Netherlands.
Ride through the enchanting Natura 2000 dune landscapes near Noordwijk and along the lively seaside boulevards of Katwijk and Noordwijk. Along the way, take in breathtaking coastal views and if you’re lucky, you might even spot deer in the dunes.
During summer, explore the classic Dutch polder landscape around the Kagerplassen. Picture traditional windmills, cows grazing in green meadows and sailboats drifting across peaceful lakes. A real highlight for families: crossing the water together on a small local ferry with your tandem!
In spring (late March to early May), the region transforms into a sea of color. Cycle past endless flower fields filled with tulips, hyacinths and daffodils. The Bollenstreek is at its absolute best during tulip season. Stop at one of the flower attractions along the route and capture unforgettable family photos.

Instructions & Practice
Before departure, you’ll receive a short and clear instruction about how to use our high-quality, Dutch-made tandems and how the cycling junction system works.
You can practice on our parking area until everyone feels comfortable. Once you’re confident, your adventure begins!

🌷 Tulip Route (Spring – Keukenhof season)
Cycle past blooming fields of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils near Keukenhof.
🌊 Dunes & Coast Route
Ride through the scenic dunes and along the boulevards of Noordwijk and Katwijk.
🌾 Polder & Windmill Route
Explore the traditional Dutch countryside around the Kagerplassen and De Kaag. Cycle past windmills, cows and peaceful waterways — and even cross the water with small local ferries.
🌸 Dahlia Route (Late Summer)
Visit impressive dahlia show gardens with hundreds of colorful flowers in bloom.
Security Deposit & Damage Policy
✔ No deposit required
✔ Standard excess: €1,000 per vehicle per incident
✔ Optional damage waiver: reduce excess to €300 for €5 per vehicle
The main renter is responsible for all participants.

If tandems are fully booked, simply choose another date or combine different vehicles. You can book each vehicle separately.
Parent-Child Tandem Details
On our parent-child tandems, the child sits in the front and the adult steers from the back. The adult is always in control. If the child gets tired, they can stop pedaling while the adult continues riding comfortably.
Suitable for children approximately 4–9 years old (depending on leg length).

Tandem Rental for Adults
We also offer traditional tandems for two adults — perfect for couples and friends who want to explore the Bollenstreek side by side.
